DRONE PILOTS
- Job Description: Aerial Drone Applicator, Pilot In Command
- Location: Home Base – Howard City, MI
- Role Type: Pilot an Agras T30 or Agras T40 in Aerial Seeding and Spreading operations

- Job Salary: Pay based off of experience and knowledge
Job Description:
- Safely and effectively pilot an agriculture drone (Agras T30 and Agras T40).
- Have constant communication with crew members and air traffic.
- Communicate with crew prior to each flight for briefing.
- Communicate with land owner on specific flight details prior to flight.
- Understand the loading, mixing, and dispersal of agriculture chemical.
- Travel from field to field for seedings, sprays, and spreading.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must have current Part 107 Remote Pilots License.
- Must have current Commercial/Private Pesticide Applicator Certification through MDARD.
- Pass an In House training program on the Agras Series drone.
- Be timely and reliable.
- Communicate with home base at all times.
- Ability to work outside for extended periods of time.
- Effectively and efficiently haul a Gooseneck and Enclosed Trailer.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
CREW INTERNS
- Job Description: Drone Crew Intern
- Location: Home Base – Howard City, MI
- Role Type: Visual Operator/Crew Hand
- Company Name: Flying Acres, LLC
- Job Type: Seasonal
- Job Salary: $12-$15, and Subject to end of season bonus
Job Description:
- The Crew Interns of Flying Acres will be a part of a two to three person team.
- Each team will have set fields to travel to for jobs.
- Interns must always listen to the Pilot in command.
- Interns will be responsible for filling the drone in daily operations.
- Interns must also be responsible for mixing of chemicals/fertilizers/etc.
- Interns must be a visual observer while drones are in flight.
- Interns must relay communications to Pilot in Command via Radio/Walkie Talkie.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to life 50+ pounds.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be willing to work under pressure.
- Must have the ability to work outside for extended periods of time.
- Must be timely and responsible.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Must be willing to learn.
